When we came up with the theme for last night’s event in Chelmsford, “The Power of Speech”, we had no idea just how appt it would prove to be.The Picture Room at the Shire Hall positively buzzed for the first hour as people networked, the conversation with our co-hosts went off in some unexpected directions –followed by a lively Q & A session. The conversation and guests’ questions will be turned into a podcast, which will appear on the site in early October.Thanks to everyone who helped us get the events side of things off to such a good start.That includes, of course, everyone who was there.Special thanks must go to: Martin West of Moon-Craft Productions www.moon-craft.co.uk for looking after the recording; Alison Stevens of Wine To Lay Down www.wine2laydown.com for supplying and serving the wine Sue Ellen of Direct Marketing Services www.directmarketingservices.co.uk for not only co-hosting, but also sorting out the food Sue's husband, Roger, for meeting and greeting - and then turning himself into the event photographer! and last – but never least!
